What HeroUI Pro is

HeroUI Pro is the premium product from NextUI Inc. It extends the open-source HeroUI component library with licensed application components for React and React Native, complete templates, and tools for maintaining a product's design system. The React library builds on HeroUI and React Aria patterns, while the React Native library provides components intended for mobile applications.

The documentation covers installation, component APIs, templates, releases, licensing, and integrations for AI coding tools. Licensed customers install packages through the published HeroUI Pro CLI. Public documentation remains available to evaluate the product; protected package source and licensed downloads require an eligible HeroUI Pro account.

Components and Agents

Product teams can use HeroUI Pro for interface building or use HeroUI Agents to embed a hosted generative UI agent in a React application. The Agents SDK, authenticated MCP services, API documentation, and OpenAPI description are separate developer entry points for those jobs. Teams that only need the free component library should use the open-source documentation at heroui.com.
