Preview your HeroUI design system for Native, check it on a device, and export Uniwind-ready CSS for your app.
Use Design Systems to customize a HeroUI theme visually and export supported tokens for HeroUI Native. Your saved system also keeps brand guidance, fonts, and assets together.
Open Design Systems to choose a saved system, or create a Design System from a website or from scratch.
For creation, brand management, agent editing, saving, undo, and access requirements, see the shared Design Systems guide. This page covers the Native workflow.
The browser preview approximates native scale and token behavior. Unsupported web settings are unavailable in Native mode, and web component CSS does not carry over to the Native CSS export.
In Overview, with Native selected, use the Scan to preview on device card to test your theme on a real device. For a base theme, scan the QR code to open the current theme in the HeroUI Native app. You can also use Copy link from the scan card.
The editor's device-preview flow does not support the Pro web variants Brutalism, Glass, and Mouve; their scan card is hidden. Custom fonts can also be unavailable in the device preview. Check the editor's font warning and use a supported suggested font when testing on a device.
global.css. Use View preview to return to the Native preview if you need to check the result.global.css. Use the Native output for your app; the Web CSS output includes web-specific styles and component overrides.
You can also export DESIGN.md and PRODUCT.md to give designers and coding agents your visual guidance and product context.
For CSS customization within your app, see Theming, Colors, and Styling.
Saved Design System imports use the HeroUI Pro MCP server, which can export Native CSS. Connect it with your Personal Token alongside the Native Pro MCP used for Native component documentation. The Native Pro MCP does not expose the saved-system import tools.
